Caldey Island
Prior permission is needed from Caldey Abbot to visit here.
Access is via a footpath on the slopes South West of Nanna's Cave across an artificial bridge.
Description
The cave has 4 entrances and is 25 metres long. It consists of 4 chambers, interconnecting with each other. Digging revealed archaeological remains, thought to be the oldest yet found on Caldey.
