Cave
Access Follow the cliff path Eastwards from Pennard and climb down after 1/4 mile before the path goes round the headland. The climb down leads to a large fissure which in turn leads to the cave.
Description The cave is of archaeological importance and consists of a single chamber 50 metres long and 23 metres high. The largest of the Gower bone caves.
History The name may be derived mynecenu, an old English word for nun: perhaps one lived here as a hermit?
