Active Site
Access Reported obliterated by quarrying in 1992. The cave was about 5 metres above the point where the Bishopston stream sinks behind the Barland Quarry, located amongst boulders in the cliff. The cave was gated and access controlled by Cotham Caving Group
Description The hole in the cliff is directly above a tight 10 metre pitch, leading to a small chamber from which two passages go on. One gives access to the streamway. From this chamber a second chamber is reached again leading to the streamway. The streamway reappears at various chambers and can be followed through ducks to the first sump. This can be by-passed by a high level passage which goes on to a second sump, marking the end of the cave so far.
