Access Turn left at the cross roads in Pontbren, up the hill, turning left at the top to Pant Cefn-y-Fford farm. Enquire there for permission. Go through the farm yard gate to the large shakehole with pine trees to the North of the farm. The sink is in the NE face of the hole.
Description The shakehole drains the ground to the East of Moel Penderyn and takes three streams in wet weather, which sink into the glacial drift at the East face of the shakehole. The main stream comes down from the West in a mini-gorge.
