Sink Cave
Access In open moorland, West of Trefil village.
Description A deep swallet with a 12m cliff. Two entrances in the base of the cliff unite in Cullingford's Chamber. There is a further crawl and a 5m drop leading to a boulder choke in a small chamber. Steeply rifts then enter a high wide chamber with passage under boulders in floor to a series of phreatic passages above an active vadose streamway terminating in boulder choke.
History C.D.Cullingford (1951). SVCC 1968-74. Boulder choke passed and main exploration by GOCAF and GSS in 1987. Named for the farmer who directed Cullingford to the site.
