Active Cave
Access Situated on the North Western side of the Gorge in old quarry workings directly above the Rock and Fountain Inn. Current Access arrangements
Description A large cave which progresses deep into the Llangattock mountain and comes close to parts of the Daren Cilau system. A short crawl leads to a series of well decorated chambers and phreatic passages. Cave water resurges at Ogof Capel and Rock and Fountain Springs.
History J.Parker and J.Hill; named after a nearby pub of the same name (finally closed 2016)
Hydrology Traced from Eglwys Faen (St Patrick's 3d, Inner Choke 14 days) and to Ogof Capel and Limekiln Springs (NW Inlet <6 hrs, Promised Land 1 day, Lower Series <1 day) and Rock & Fountain (Hall of Mountain King 6hr)
