Cave
Access The cave lies to the North of the road from Minera to World's End. Access is controlled by the NWCC and GCC and keys can be obtained from Hon. Sec. The farmer must be contacted before Descent. The cave is situated across two fields from the farm, It is on the edge of the Minera Quarry, above two old kilns which have conspicuous chimneys. Current Access arrangements
Description A 7 metre rift pitch leads from the mine into the cave. It contains an extensive series of large sized passages and chambers, approximately 1Km in all. The cave was discovered by P.J. Appleton of the S.M.C. in 1964. Exploration was continued by the S.M.C., S.C.C. and other members of the NWCA.
